HLL 11/12-Year Old National Invitational Team

The 11/12-Year Old National Invitational Team will be participating in the11/12-Year Old Invitational Tournament hosted by Central Chesterfield Little League starting July 30

1st game is scheduled for Saturday 07/30, 10AM, At CCLL - Harry Daniel Park against Ashland

Update 7/30

Huguenot National started out strong and batted around in the first inning and jumped out to a 15-0 lead after one inning. The team scored in each inning and went on to win the game in 4 innings 27-3. The team had a very strong performance all around... strong pitching, defense, hitting and aggressive baserunning. We are playing Central Chesterfield Monday night at 6pm in our second game.

Update 8/1

Sam started out on the mound and pitched a solid first 2 innings. Joseph and Sam had back to back hits and came around to score in the bottom of the 2nd to give Huguenot a 2-1 lead going into the 3rd inning. CC was able to manufacture 4 runs in the 3rd inning and Malik and Kyle came around to score in the bottom of the 3rd to make it 5-4 CC. CC was up 6-4 with 2 outs in the 5th and the bases loaded and 2 strikes on their cleanup hitter, when he hit a triple that went off of one of our fielder’s gloves for a triple. Huguenot entered the bottom of the 6th inning down 11-6. Eric hit a 2-run blast to left that landed in the trees to pull the team within 11-8 but we couldn't get any closer. Tough loss but hopefully we can bounce back Wednesday. A positive to be taken away from the game is Huguenot was able to outhit CC 7-5. We will be playing in the Champions Bracket on Wednesday...game time TBA.
